Even when you have a long list of to-do’s, if you faithfully keep your time with Me in the morning sacred, then I promise that I will give you the strength and inspiration for today. Remember that I told you not to fret about tomorrow. (Matthew 6:34) That doesn’t mean that you don’t need to plan for tomorrow – but in all your plans, in all your ways, keep acknowledging Me, and I will direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-7)
Since you started on your journey for Me I have directed your steps, I have kept you in the way, I have continually shepherded you. So My call to you still the same: Take up your cross daily, and follow Me. (Matthew 16:24) I have given everyone their cross to bear – the challenges, trials, testings, heartbreaks, forsakings that I ask each one of My followers to bear. But I also know your frame, (Psalm 103:14) and will carry you when you feel that you can’t go one more step. Even I needed help carrying My own cross – because I was a flesh and blood human and I had the same frailties of flesh that you have. So don’t let these times of testing cause you to falter in your conviction and determination to follow Me day by day. Remember that My mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23) – and if you stay faithful to Me, keep trusting Me even in the midst of battles, you will reap if you faint not! (Galatians 6:9)
