My Word is living water, streams of living water that you can jump in and bathe in. The references to My Word being water are throughout the old and new testaments. As the hart pants after the water brooks so your soul pants after Me. (Psalm 42:1) I lead you beside the still waters and I restore your soul. (Psalm 23:2-3) And when My Word is your delight and you meditate in My Word day and night then you will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. And I have promised that you will bring forth fruit in the time that I have ordained. (Psalm 1:2-3)
In the morning when you wake up – you can start the flow of the water of My Word and My Spirit by priming the pump – letting me fill the empty places in your heart with My Spirit and then My word will flow out of you and water others. As I told the woman in Samaria, if you will ask of Me, I will give you living water and you will never thirst. (John 4:7-9) So come to Me and drink deeply of My Word and let Me satisfy your deepest longings.
