I have called you by your name and you are Mine! (Isaiah 43:1) You are one of My sheep, and you hear My voice and you follow Me. (John 10:27) And through these many years, you followed Me on many paths – some by the still waters, some through the storms and trials and tests. And as long as you have looked to Me as your Shepherd, and you have trusted that I am watching over you to keep you and provide for you and protect you, then you have had your faith strengthened each step of the way. But when you wander off and start to follow your own ideas and leadings, when you have let the cares of this life push out your time with Me – then you have opened the door to discouragement and doubt, worry and anxiety.
I know your frame, and I know that you are human with human frailties but the more you feed on My Word, and the more you take time to commune with Me in the Spirit, the more you will grow and be strengthened and prepared for every battle ahead. (Psalm 103:14)
