This time that you take to be with Me in the morning is so important. This is our time to sit together, to have a time of communion together – a time of counsel, a time for you to let Me speak directly to you and to answer your questions. Sometimes, yes, I will reveal the future to you. But the vast majority of the time I lead you step by step, My words to you are like a flashlight that illuminates right around your feet, and you have to take a step before you can see what the next step should be.
So this time that you take with Me is so important! If you keep Me first – then I can make all these things fall into place. Let me light the path ahead for today. Even though you have a plan for what you want to accomplish today – still you can have My flashlight lighting the way ahead. I am always there with you – always ready to speak to you and guide you. But you also have to work to still the voices all around you and the flood of information and distractions from the internet that will jam the signal. So you need to work to enter into that rest (Hebrews 4:11) – and keep your ears tuned to My voice throughout the day, so you will hear My voice behind you saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” (Isaiah 30:21)
