Learning to put your trust in Me is a skill that comes from practice and testing, and having faith and trust in Me is also a gift. Remember you can of your own self do nothing, (John 5:30) and that includes learning to rest in Me, and trust in My promises. The more your faith is tested, the more you will learn to put your full weight down on Me. You will learn that you can step out on the water, trusting that I will hold you up. And when the storms come and you are buffeted by the wind and the rain, you will wrap yourself more tightly in My Word, and you will be comforted by My strong embrace.
So take each new test as a step forward in growing your faith. And as you learn to trust Me more, I will also help you overcome the stress and anxiety that you suffer. Come to Me, and learn of Me, (Matthew 11:29) and let Me give you My perfect peace that passes all understanding. (Philippians 4:7)
