There are times when you will feel that I am far from you – but those will only be times when you have strayed from Me. It is so easy to do – sheep easily wander away from the Shepherd. They see a tender piece of grass that looks so tempting and then they see another patch a little further on – and before they know it, they have lost their way. But I am the Good Shepherd and I will leave the 99 sheep that are safe in my fold to seek the one lost sheep. (Luke 15:4-7) I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5) Yes, you will stray and you will always have battles to face – but you can stand on My promises to you that I will hold you fast. (Psalm 139:10)
