It is a good thing that you are wrestling with questions about your faith, because when you face opposition, then you come to Me looking for answers.  In taking time to prepare your answer, you are sharpening your sword so you are ready to give an answer to him that asks you. (1 Peter 3:15) Don’t be afraid to stand up and speak out for the truth.  But avoid foolish and unlearned questions – be apt to teach, gentle and meek. (2 Tim 2:23-24)   The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance – and against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)  When you answer questions like these you should stick to lifting Me up – testify to how I changed your life and share the truth of My Word, which no one can gainsay nor resist. (Luke 21:15.)  If I am lifted up I will draw all men to me. (John 12:32) I was speaking of being lifted up on the cross, but you can also apply this verse to lifting Me up when you are sharing the Gospel and proclaiming the Truth. Thomas asked Me, “How can we know the way?”  and I answered him, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life – and no man comes to the Father but by Me.”  (John 14:6) So be faithful to proclaim the Truth – that I am the Truth and that I did not come to earth to condemn the world, but that the world through Me might be saved.  (John 3:17)

As the days grow darker, you will see more and more the physical manifestation on earth of the powers of darkness fighting against the powers of righteousness in the heavenly realm.  Remember when Elisha asked me to open the eyes of his servant to see all the forces of heaven that were arrayed against the enemy? (2 Kings 6:15-17)  Today these battles are raging even heavier and harder.  When a woman is in labor the pains get stronger and stronger until the baby is born. (John 16:21) The time of My return draws closer every day and so the battles are raging!  But remember that I am the God of the whole earth and I have power of all.  As I told Peter in the Garden of Gethsemane – I could have asked My Father to send legions of angels to defend Me. (Matthew 26:53) But it was My Father’s Will for me to go to the cross and die for you!  But even though the powers of darkness are strong – the light of My children cannot be extinguished.  As I promised, the gross darkness will cover the earth, but My light will arise upon you and you will shine brighter as that glorious day approaches. (Isaiah 60:2) Before the end comes, I need my army of children to much more boldly proclaim the truth!  I want the choice to be so clear to everyone around the world – no matter where they are.  All around the world as the forces of evil get stronger, then My children will need to be bolder, more courageous and more full of My light!

You will never see or realize, in this life, all those you have reached with My love – those touched by your love and kindness – those who came to Me because of your witness and testimony.  I know you so easily feel that you only have a small voice, but you are part of My body and your hands are my hands, your voice is my voice, your feet are my feet.  When you reach out to others and when you share your testimony of faith, I can cause those seeds to grow in the hearts and lives of those you meet.  And then they in turn can start planting seeds of My Love in the hearts of others. 

So don’t be weary in well-doing, know that you will reap if you faint not. Keep planting the seed of My Word, keep sharing the good news of the gospel, keep running the race that I’ve set before you and keep laying up treasures in Heaven, the treasures of souls that you have led to Me!

It is true that the days are getting darker and darker, and darkness is covering the earth and gross darkness the people. But even though the forces of darkness seem so strong, you have to remember Isaiah 60:2:  “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” Remember that I will arise upon you and My glory will be seen upon you. It’s important for you to remember that My Light and My Power are infinitely greater than the forces of darkness.  As the world grows darker and the power of evil seems to be getting stronger in the world, My Light shines even brighter in the darkness.  So let your light shine brightly for Me.  And remember that even a small candle can be seen for miles on a dark night.  My light will guide you and light your way.  My Light will draw those who are seeking Me out of the darkness into the Light. My Light will comfort you and warm your heart.  And My Light will strengthen you for the days ahead.  So abide in Me. Abide in My Light.  Remember that “They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” Daniel 12:3
