The reason so many believers have a hard time hearing My voice and receiving My Words, is because they can easily doubt that I would spend time with them personally.  It is very important, and not to be neglected, to take time to read the Bible and hear Me speak to you through the written Word. I have preserved the Word through the centuries – and many saints gave their lives to make the written Word, the Bible, available to all people. So reading the Bible is vital for all believers, where you can understand the foundation of your faith and receive guidance and instruction.

It is a step of faith to come to Me with your questions and then ask Me to speak to you personally and give you guidance about your everyday questions.  Big or small, I am ready to give you the answers that you are seeking.  You can find so many examples in the Bible of those who sought Me for guidance, for My Word – and how I came through for them, and led and guided them.  And the ones you’ve read about are really just the tip of the iceberg – because throughout time I have been constantly present, speaking to those who came to Me.

But the enemy is always ready to attack you with doubts about My words to you. And that is the spiritual battle that is part of the life of a disciple.  You will always get hit by battles and thoughts from the enemy.  But the more you abide in Me and let My Word abide in you, the more fruit you will bear, and the more you will be equipped to stand strong during your times of temptation and battle.

“Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I… The Lord will guide you always.” (Isaiah 58:9, 11).

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3).

I am so glad that you’ve set aside your mornings to be with Me.  Once the day is started it’s so easy for your to-do list to swallow you up. You don’t try to go through your day without sleep. You don’t try to live without eating or drinking.  I created you this way – that you need to get sleep at night so your body can recharge itself, and you need to eat nourishing food and drink enough water so that your body functions properly.  I could have created you so that you just kept going all day every day, nonstop, and that you didn’t need to eat or drink.  But I created the whole world this way – night comes for all the world and then all of creation rests. Of course now, in this age with air travel, and the internet, and huge cities that never close down – life goes on continually and people work at all hours. But I have created life to be a continual cycle of rest and activity. Your spirit is the same – you need time with Me to refresh your spirit, to hear from Me and receive My strength for the day.  Constantly going without taking time to rest and refill your spirit will bring sickness to your soul. Remember that My mercies are new every morning.  Each day comes to you as a blank slate and I want to fill each day with purpose, spiritual strength, and joy in knowing that you are accomplishing My will.

My wisdom, the wisdom that is from above, “is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.  And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.”  (James 3:17-18)

This is the digital age, and the world has been connected  by the internet so that news travels instantly all around the world.  Everyone has a connection to volumes and volumes of so called “wisdom” at their fingertips, and many spend hours each day reading and consuming it.  This was foretold by my prophet Daniel, that in the Last Days knowledge would be increased.  (Daniel 12:4)  But this onslaught of information, pundits, opinions, “influencers” and now even Artificial Intelligence and computer generated images and videos is a flood that is coming at you all day, every day.  So it’s important to remember that you need to keep your channel open to Me at all times – seek My peace and My Truth and pursue it! (Psalm 34:14)  And My peace that passes all understanding will keep your mind and your heart. Let Me fill  your heart with My wisdom from above!  My Word and My Spirit can continually wash your spirit and fill your life with the fruits of My Spirit.

When King David was going through a time of testing, he prayed, “Hide not Thy Face far from me.”  (Psalm 27:9) But I want you to be assured that I am always with you and My Spirit is always within you, surrounding you, dwelling inside of your spirit.  I have said that “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). And I promised you that “I am with you always, even to the end of the world.” (Matthew 28:20)  But one of the greatest goals of the enemy of your soul is to separate you from Me and to make you feel far from Me. 

Especially now, in these Last Days, the world has been filled with noise and distractions.  You are constantly bombarded with what is now called “information overload” – but in reality all these  invasions of your mind and heart can so easily draw you away from Me.  Until recently, people spent their lives enjoying My creation, children played outside, and their parents and grandparents would enjoy times sitting on the porch to watch the sunset, drinking in My beautiful gift of creation. They could more easily hear My Voice – as they praised Me, and thanked Me for My many gifts. So remember that I am always with you, always ready to speak My Words to you, to whisper in your heart, telling you of My love for you, helping you to follow Me and leading you along the path I have chosen for you.

When I ascended to heaven, then My Spirit was poured out on all flesh – ALL flesh.  Just like the radio and TV and cell signals that are all around you – you only have to flip the switch and listen.  And then when you take the time to write down My Words, then that is like watching the show or the game on TV.   You then have brought My Words “to life” in a way – you now have a record and you can go back and re-read what I’ve told you.
