Your prayers can move mountains! I told My disciples that they had asked nothing of Me – but if they would ask anything in My name I would do it.  Many times you come to Me asking Me to help you, to change you, to encourage and strengthen you.  I will of course answer your prayers.  But I honor even more the prayers that you pray for others.  When you seek Me earnestly on behalf of others – for their healing, their encouragement, their protection and provision – then I can work more than you can even imagine.  This is part of the what I meant by going into your closet when you pray – when you pray for others, you are praying secretly – and I see your secret prayers and I will reward you openly.  You can become a prayer warrior for Me – fighting battles in the spirit world on behalf of others. Your prayers are a mighty, supernatural force – and when you take time to intercede for others you are availing yourself of My power – the same power that created the Universe!

Small beginnings can have greater ends when you are following Me each step of the way.  My specialty is taking the weak things of the world to confound the mighty.  (I Cor 1:27)  I can take the 5 loaves and 2 fishes and feed 5000. (Matthew 14:17-21)  And when the widow put two mites into the treasury as her offering, I told My disciples that she had given more than all those who gave out of their abundance – because she had put in all her living. (Mark 12:42-44)  So, don’t look at what you think is your small offering, don’t say within your heart – I only have these 5 loaves and 2 fish, and what can they do – what can I accomplish?  All those whom I have used throughout the ages have always felt incapable, and that they didn’t have anything to give – but like the hymn goes, it is not because of who you are – but because of what I have done for you, and it is not because of what you have done – but because of Who I am! 

So don’t be like Peter who I called to step out on the water.  He obeyed Me, and began to walk on the water as he came toward Me., but as soon as Peter started to look at the winds and the waves, he started to sink.  I did not let Peter fall below the waves – but I reached out & lifted him up into the strong embrace of My loving arms.  So step out on the water!  Don’t look at your own weaknesses – but trust that I have called you to follow Me along this path, and I will use you and help you to accomplish My Will.

My creation teaches you that from tiny seeds, great trees grow that will live for centuries, providing shade and protection from the sun, providing a home for birds, providing food for the squirrels, and bearing seeds which also contain the germ of life, each one capable to growing into another beautiful tree.  And what about a baby?  A miracle, you say – that from two tiny cells that join together, nine months later a human baby is born.  A tiny person, who can see, and think, and hear, and eventually speak.  One of my perfect creations, and one of my precious children created in My image.

So all My creation speaks of Me and My creative power.  The seeds I have sown in the world spring forth with tremendous fruit!  As I said, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”  Matthew 17:30  I took the five small loaves and two small fishes and multiplied them to feed 5000.  I took Noah and his family and from those eight souls saved from the flood I repopulated the earth.  

I was born in a stable, to a young virgin mother who was chosen to bring Me into this world.  I was raised in a humble home with faithful parents who knew that they had been chosen to raise Me until the day I was called to begin my ministry on earth.  And then I chose 12 disciples – all simple, humble, unlearned men, who answered My call to follow Me.  From the seeds that I sowed in the world – the seeds of the Word, the seeds of love, the seeds of light that I brought into the world – those 12 disciples carried My message to the world.  They obeyed Me when I called them to “Go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20) And over the centuries those seeds have grown and covered the earth!

So don’t get discouraged if you think, “But I am just a little light – I have just a tiny light – there are so many who can shine much brighter than I shine. “  Remember what the disciples said, “There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:9  Even though that offering seemed so small, I greatly multiplied it! Remember that I am the God of the universe and I take the tiniest seeds and use them to produce amazing fruit.  Shine on!  This is your hour, this is your time to shine!
