You are precious to Me!  I have been so happy that you’ve had a turnaround in your life, and that you have come back from wandering in the dry and desolate places, back to the refreshing water of My Word.  I have been working on your heart and helping you to see that you were feeding on husks.

Remember that when the Prodigal Son returned to his father’s house, he had a much greater love for his father than ever before. The act of leaving his father and taking his inheritance showed that the Prodigal Son was rejecting the love of His Father which was constant and unwavering.  But then after years of riotous living, he found himself in the middle of the swine pit eating the husks because he was so hungry. (Luke 15:11-32) That is truly what happens when you stray from me and from My love. 

But the Prodigal son was still a son and still very loved – infinitely loved by his father! When you repent and come back to Me, then our love bonds are only stronger – because as I said, the one who is forgiven much, loves much.  (Luke 7:47) You let the cares of this life choke out your time with Me, and although I was always here – I’ve been “there all the time” as the song goes – still you let your heart and mind get filled with so many other things, that you started to eat husks. The books, and the news and social media were filling your mind and causing you to be dry and thirsty for the Living Waters.  So now that you have come back to My loving arms and fellowship with Me, I am rejoicing!  Because our bond of love is stronger, your hunger for My Word is deeper, and I am washing you and renewing your spirit and filling you again to overflowing with My Holy Spirit – so that you can overflow on others and fulfill the great purpose that I have for you.

I want to give all of My children the blessed assurance that I am yours and you are Mine.  You belong to Me and I have redeemed you.  The day you opened your heart to Me, proclaimed your faith that I am the Son of God and that I died on the cross for you, the day that you received Me as your Savior, that day you were born again, a precious new creation, born into My Kingdom.  So remember that you have been purchased with My blood. You are Mine forever, and nothing can separate you from Me. Neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate you from My love! (Romans 8:38-39)

The more you walk with Me and the closer you draw to Me, the more you will realize that it is only Me and My Spirit within you that is good at all.  When the rich young ruler came to me and asked, “Good master, what good thing shall I do?”, I told him that he shouldn’t call Me good – because no one is good except God. (Matthew 19:16-17) Remember that I created you the way you are!  You are my precious creation and you are created in My image. Your strengths and your weaknesses come from Me – and throughout your journey here on earth, you will always have to battle these weaknesses, and at the same time use your strengths to glorify Me. Remember that My disciples were unlearned and ignorant men, but everyone could see that they had been with Me. My Spirit was strong within them and I helped them to overcome their weaknesses and to become bold proclaimers of My truth. (Acts 4:13) These disciples that were chosen by Me, were faithful to share the good news of the Gospel.  They dedicated their lives to spreading the Truth that I am your eternal God, and I died and shed My blood so that you would live with Me in My Heavenly Kingdom for all eternity. So don’t get discouraged when you see your many faults and failings – remember that the closer you come to Me and My light, the more you will realize that any good thing is your life is only Me. But take heart, knowing that I am mighty to save! And I rejoice over you with gladness! (Zephaniah 3:17)

He looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. (Hebrews 11:10)

This is the end of the greatest story, that finally My Kingdom will be here on earth and righteousness will cover the earth as the water covers the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)  This is the Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13) – and the glorious future that I have prepared for you and for all of My children, for all who believe in Me and receive Me.  Remember as you travel along the path that I have put before you, as you are running the race that I have called you to run, that when you have finished the course, when you have run the race, you will come into My arms and you will hear My words – “Well done”.  So keep that hope burning in your heart!  Never forget that nothing can separate you from My Love!  “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  (Romans 8:35-39)

Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. I Cor 2:9 (also Is 64:4)

This verse is so often quoted as encouragement for those who love Me and who will be with Me in paradise, promising that what I have prepared is far greater than what you can imagine – and this is true!  The next verse says that I have revealed these things to you: “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”(I Cor 2:10)

I want to show you and reveal to you the deep things. I want to give you answers to the mysteries of My Spirit. And most of all I want to encourage you and give you strength for the battles ahead by showing you the glorious future that I have prepared for you in the life to come.

Still, what I have prepared for you is beyond your wildest dreams – because I like to surprise you and blow your mind!  This is not only true of what Heaven is like, but also in this life, I show My love for you in little and big ways – little miracles that help you to know that I am here!  You recently read about the man who was held captive for more than 5 years in the jungles of Columbia (Keith Stansell) – and how on the very first day of his captivity as he and his fellow captives were being marched deeper into the jungle, he looked down and saw a beautiful flower growing there. And that flower gave him hope and encouragement, knowing that I was with him and would see him through the long trial that was ahead.  Those little miracles are like my kisses, my small ways of showing you how greatly I love you, and how I care for you and will always provide for you and protect you and keep you close to Me throughout your journey on earth.

You are My precious creation!  I created you just the way you are, with all your idiosyncrasies, your strengths and weaknesses, and the funny things about your personality.  Even every hair on your head is counted.  I also know your deepest desires, your thoughts and dreams, your fears and discouragement, your joys and times of happiness and contentment.  Your very being is known by Me – and you are precious to Me.  Just like the pearl of great price that the man sold all that he had to buy it.  You are that pearl! And even if you were the only person on earth, I would still have sacrificed My life for you, so that you would be with Me for eternity.
