When I was on Earth, My mornings were my favorite time of the day. When I woke up, the first thing I would do was to find a quiet place where I could spend time with My Father. I had great joy being in the presence of My Father – and each morning He would encourage Me and tell Me what He had planned for the day. It was our time of fellowship together, our time in each other’s presence. That is why I woke up a great while before day when it was still dark, and all was quiet. (Mark 1:35) I would find a place to sit and spend time in communion with God, My Father.
You are also one of God’s children (1 John 3), and you have this same privilege, that you can come into My presence not only in the morning, but whenever you want, so we can counsel together and you can also receive My encouragement and help for any question that you have. That is why I gave the illustration of a child asking his father for bread – and what father would give him a stone? (Matthew 7:9) You are God’s child – a child of the King! We are joint-heirs together of My Father’s Heavenly Kingdom. (Romans 8:16-17) All that I have, as My Father’s Son and Heir, is also yours! And we will enjoy each other’s love and presence for all eternity! (1 Peter 1:4)
