You are in the world, but not of the world. You can shine brightly for Me, since the light shines so brightly amidst the darkness. So let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify Me.
When you have given your heart and your life to Me, when your spirit reflects Mine, you shine. There is nothing that can keep My light and My love from shining through you. Others see it, and it is a witness for Me.
You can stand for what is right, even when you are often surrounded by what is wrong. Yet at the same time I call you to be filled with My love and with My understanding. You should stand up for your convictions and for what you know to be right. Yet there will also be times when the right thing to do would be to overlook a wrong as a demonstration of My love and acceptance of a person, even if something they are doing isn’t right.
The most important thing is love. Show love. Show that you care. Show that you love others, and that even if there are things that you don’t agree with, you still love them as a person. Just because you love and accept someone doesn’t mean that you accept all that they stand for. Appreciate the good things about them, and love them with My love. And in time, My love will work in their heart and life.
