If you want to be happy and you want to live the best life possible, remember that as much as you think you want something, or as much as something sounds like a good idea to you, it’s always better to base your choices on something more lasting than your whims or impulses. That something is Me and My loving protection of you and your future.
If you’re faced with a choice, ask Me about it. Find out what My Word says, and ask Me personally what I think. If what I want and what you want are the same thing, that’s great. But if I’m pointing in a direction that isn’t your personal preference, that’s when it helps to remember that you don’t know everything, you can’t see the future, and I know best. I also love you very much. So if I am asking you to do something that is difficult, I’m asking it of you for your good, for your long-term happiness. I love you and I want you to live the best life possible.
