I know you’re tired and you wish that life could be simpler with less responsibilities, a smaller to-do list. But the reason you are so stressed and tired is because you aren’t casting those cares on Me. You aren’t letting Me carry the weight of these burdens. And what does that mean? It means you aren’t trusting that I will provide for you, and continue to care for you. As I said, “Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit to your stature?” (Matthew 6:27) And how does worrying or fretting about all that you need to do make your to-do list shorter?
I want you to take each day as a gift from Me – and blank slate that you can fill with gratitude and praise and faith and trust. My mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23) – and when you start your day by coming to Me with an open and grateful heart, with songs of praise and your lips, then I will pour out My Spirit on you and fill you to overflowing with the fruits of My Spirit! You are surrounded by My love – so many blessings in your life. And all these beautiful things are straight from Me. My beautiful creation that is all around you. Your loving family and those who love and care for you. So come to Me in the morning and enter into My courts with praise! And I will give you the strength and help you need for today – and My peace that passes all understanding. (Philippians 4:7)
