Start your day with a song in your heart. Sing to Me and raise your voice in praise! You love to hear the birds singing their songs of joy in the morning, and all My creation sings to Me – the beautiful sunrise, the wind blowing through the trees, the waves of the ocean crashing on the shore, the rainbow after the rain. But the most precious sound to Me are the songs of praise from My children and your words of love!
When Paul and Silas were in prison, they sang to Me songs of praise, and I delivered them miraculously. And their songs, together with My power, were a great witness to the prisoners and the guards – and for generations and generations as the story of their faith has been told.
And David sang so many songs of praise to Me, even in his darkest hours – he lifted his voice to Me, knowing that I would deliver him and that I am mighty to save! So sing to Me in the morning when you wake up, fill your heart with songs and hymns, making melody to Me in your heart (Ephesians 5:19), and my joy will sustain you throughout the day!
