The secret to purifying your heart is to do draw nigh to Me. (James 4:8-10) Being cleansed in your spirit is something that you have to do every single day – just like taking a shower or doing the dishes. These are daily chores and habits that you have to repeat every single day. So it is the same in the Spirit World – you will face battles every single day.
Of course My Love for you is eternal, and you belong to Me. I have redeemed you and no one can pluck you out of My hand. (John 10:28) But still you will face daily battles and trials of your faith – and this is the path of a disciple. As I told My disciples, if any one would come after Me, they must deny themselves and take up their cross daily – daily – and follow Me (Luke 9:23). So whatever battle you are faced with today, look on the testing with faith and hope in your heart. Know that the trying of your faith is more precious than gold (I Peter 1:7), and I will use these fires of testing to strengthen you and prepare you for the days ahead. So don’t forget that the secret is to draw close to Me, and I will surround you with My loving arms. I will give you the strength to keep going forward, and I will give you My peace that passes all understanding that will keep your heart and your mind through every trial and test. (Philippians 4:7)
