It is the times of trial and testing that make you strong. These tests of life have made you strong in Me. Your roots have grown deep over the years, and the foundation of faith and time studying the Word has made you what you are today. But I don’t want you to think that the testing is over… because the trial of your faith is a life-long battle until the day that I call you home to be with Me. There is no retirement – or discharge – in this war. (Ecclesiastes 8:8) Your life is a life-long time of war in the Spirit – of battle and testing. But I do not test you or try you more than you are able to bear. As Paul explained, life is like a long race and a great battle. When Paul knew that he was approaching the finish line, he was grateful to know that he had finished his course and kept the faith – and that a crown was waiting for him and that he would hear My words to him of Well Done. (2 Tim 4:7, Matthew 25:23)
So through all the ages, I have carried My children through their life’s journey. And I am bringing you to that final day – the last leg of the race when I am calling you to put all your strength and focus into this last battle. But be strong and of good courage – do not be dismayed because I am with you each step of the way through your life’s journey. (Joshua 1:9)
